RedLynx has sent over word that its highly anticipated game Trials Evolution will make its public debut at two upcoming trade shows, where it will be playable by both public and press alike.
The first chance to play Trials Evolution before its release will be at the Gamescom in Cologne, Germany this week while next weekend the game will arrive at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle Washington, giving gamers on two continents an opportunity to preview what RedLynx says just might be “the most ambitious downloadable console title yet.”
“Ever since we teased Trials Evolution at E3, gamers have clamored for more information,” said Tero Virtala, CEO of RedLynx. “But until recently, we’ve been quiet and working hard on the game.
“Now at last, we are ready to start showing everyone why this game is called Trials Evolution – why it is more than just a sequel, but is a huge step forward in digital downloads.”
So far, we know that the game will offer multiplayer – both local and online – alongside a challenging single player component, outdoor environments and curved driving line, a full-featured track editor, global track sharing, and bike and rider customizations.
“This is the biggest game RedLynx has ever done, and one of the most ambitious downloadable console games ever,” said Antti Ilvessuo, Creative Director of RedLynx. “The things that can be done with just the editor will astound long-time fans of the series. I can’t wait to see what the community will be able to create!”
Trials Evolution is expected to hit the Xbox Live Marketplace some time later this year. For more, hit up the game’s official website.
