Milestone has pulled the sheet off another racing game in their long line of WRC racing games. But this time, WRC Powerslide looks to bring the fun of Motorstorm RC and the beauty of the WRC games together for a 4-player “frenetic” PSN release for PS3 and the Xbox.

If the trailer embedded above had you fooled at the beginning it’s because WRC Powerslide still manages to include the highly detailed scenery and vehicles from Milestone’s previous WRC FIA World Rally Championship games. Instead of a fixed rear bumper camera, Powerslide opts for a top-down view, features arcady controls, and has karting-style weapons.

If you’re a fan of the realism that WRC has brought to rally cross games and also a fan of over the top kart racing, WRC Powerslide looks likely to deliver on both fronts. It’s just too bad this game isn’t also coming to Vita.
