The launch trailer for Metro: Last Light from Deep Silver let’s you know, everything is different now. The world isn’t quite the same anymore. Publisher Deep Silver and developer 4A Games have released the launch trailer for the sequel to 2010’s sleeper hit, Metro 2033.

Don’t let the first-person view fool you, this game is nothing like Call of Duty. Instead, Metro is more of a survival horror experience where you’re constantly short on ammo and must pay close attention to your oxygen meters and such as you explore the abandoned Russian Metro system following an apocalyptic event.

Over the course of the game you’ll be dealing with radical groups who want you dead, and monsters who also, well, want you dead. Basically, everyone wants you in bits on the floor, and it’s your job to make sure that doesn’t happen. You get a taste of the tension in the above trailer.
