Hmm. I was under the impression that Stainless’ forthcoming Carmageddon reboot was in a safe place already in terms of funding, but nonetheless they’ve added their game of pedestrian slaughter and hyper-aggressive future-racing to the infinite ranks of Kickstarted development. The internet’s been enormously happy about the news today, which puzzles me slightly as it’s not like the game wasn’t going to happen without crowdsourcing.

Carmageddon’s Crowdsourced ReReincarnation
Sleeping Dogs
Sleeping Dogs is a open world crime drama video game, developed by United Front Games in conjunction with Square Enix London Studios and published by Square Enix, to be released on August 14, 2012 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.[5] Sleeping Dogs will take place in Hong Kong and focuses on an undercover operation to infiltrate the Triads.
Carrot In Hell: Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit
What’s the best game with an exclamation mark in its title? Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit has one but I’m going to stop using it now because it’s awkward and silly, which could well be an accurate description of the game itself.
Max Payne 3: Multiplayer
Max Payne 3 is the third installment in Rockstar Games Max Payne series and is set eight years after the events of the last installment. No longer a cop, Max is close to washed-up, drunk and addicted to painkillers. Without a job on the force, Max has left the greater New York area, and finds himself in Sao Paulo, Brazil, working as private security.
The Elder Scrolls Online Teases Us Ouroborosly
I would have gone for something about teaser trailer / TESer trailer, but it just wasn’t working. Well, make your own headline, anyway: here’s the promise-filled logo-panning teaser for The Elder Scrolls Online. It has Michael Gambon’s voice tell us about the empty throne and the alliance of dark forces, which seems like a pretty good basis for getting excited about anything.
And Yet It Flies: Chasing Aurora Looks Gorgeous
Oh goodness. Chasing Aurora, the latest from And Yet It Moves developer Broken Rules, looks like it’s really shaping up to be something special. It’s being billed as an “explorative 2D aerial action game about the dream of flight” in the “hostile environment of the Alps.”

Browser Game Pick: Astro Break
Ludum Dare entry Astro Break plays like something that came straight out of an arcade cabinet. It’s a little bit like a game called Super Obliteration, which in turn was a mixture of Asteroids and Pang. Run around the edge of a tiny planet, dodging and shooting asteroids, which split in two and keep doing so until they are small enough to be destroyed. Sometimes asteroids will drop fruit, shields or power-ups.
The Walking Dead: Episode 1
The Walking Dead: Episode 1 is bloody, brutal, and hard to put down. This is not your average Telltale Games adventure. The developer best known for all-ages affairs like the Back to the Future and Tales of Monkey Island franchises has nimbly waded into the guts and gore of the zombie apocalypse with the first episode of its five-part take on The Walking Dead.
Ludum Dare Review Extravaganza
Dogbomb is back with another of his awesome reviews. For a change though, this one isn’t just one game. He’s reviewing a hundred and one of the best games from the Ludum Dare game making competition. Don’t worry though, each review is kept short and hilarious.
