We all knew this game was coming, but a formal announcement was required anyway. EA Sports announced today that NHL 14 is on the way for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 10, 2013 in North America, and September 13, 2013 in Europe.

Fans of MLB 2K13 finally got something to pique their interest in the upcoming game. Though it is slated for release on March 5, information and media have been scarce until now. Trailers generally don’t give us the meat and potatoes of a game, but it serves to promote and display some of the high-level appeal.

Okay, so this one isn’t a game trailer, news or a review but it did make me laugh pretty hard and hey, if you’ve got aspirations of becoming a top payed voice actor it may even be of assistance. Anyway, here’s the EA Sports voice actor guy with some tips on how to say “EA Sports”. Enjoy.

So sports games have had ragdoll physics for a while now but what does it really add to the games? The short answer is “Hilarity”. EA Sports dropped this video of SSX late Friday, boasting that they’ve got something new in store for fans this summer, and that only those with sharp eyes would be able to even guess what it was. Well, in the first 20 seconds, the camera lingers on board art that says “Merqury City,” referencing a level from the original game. So that wasn’t too hard.
