Fall Of Cybertron Trailer Reveals Metroplex, Dinobots

The latest trailer for Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron is the one most likely to set giddy hearts racing, for it shows both dinobots and the enormous Metroplex in action, fighting and punching. There’s an inspirational voice-over from Optimus Prime, too, which is something everyone needs to listen to when they’re eating their wheaty breakfast.

Nights Into Dreams

Sega is to re-release an HD version of NiGHTS into Dreams later this year. The spruced up digital edition of the popular flying platformer will hit Xbox Live Arcade, PSN and PC this autumn, 16 years after the original released.

Assassin’s Creed III RISE Trailer

Despite being just another game in a long-running franchise, Assassin’s Creed 3 is probably one of the most anticipated games to be released this year. With all the hype built up over the past few months, and especially its numerous E3 awards, a lot of folks are dying to get their hands on the game. Well, if you’re one of them you’ll still have to wait for October 31st. However, to somewhat sate your appetite or make the wait a little more bearable, a new trailer for the game has been released today.

Crikey: EU Rules You Can Resell Downloaded Games

Well here’s some pretty huge news. The Court Of Justice of the European Union has just ruled that people should be able to resell downloaded games. In an environment where publishers are trying to destroy basic consumer rights like the ability to resell physical products you’ve paid for, this could be one heck of a turnaround for customers. And that’s no matter what it might say in the EULAs. This could have absolutely enormous implications on how services like Steam, Origin, GamersGate and the like work, and finally restore some rights back to the gamer.

DCS: P-51D Mustang

I’ve never really been a fan of flight sims let alone ones that try to be historically accurate, so by rights this trailer should leave me in a coma, but somehow it actually piqued my interest. Maybe it was the attention to detail, the epic scale of the thing or maybe it just reminded me how impressive it is that our species has got to a point where we can sit in flying metal boxes, upside-down, looping the loop while shooting tiny bits of metal at other men in flying metal boxes. Who knows.
